Why a VIP Transfer from Antalya Airport Is Cheaper than a Taxi

“VIP sounds expensive” — that reflex costs Antalya holidaymakers real money every year. Once you honestly account for the meter, surcharges and passenger numbers, the fixed-price private transfer is the cheaper choice on most routes. Here’s the maths.

The taxi bill waiting at the airport

Taxis at Antalya Airport run on the meter: base fare plus per-kilometre rate — and in practice, frequently detours, “forgotten” meters, negotiated night supplements and luggage debates.
