1. Passport control: Most European citizens enter Türkiye visa-free for tourist stays of up to 90 days. The e-gates speed up the process noticeably.

2. Baggage claim: Belts are listed on the displays by flight number. Luggage trolleys are free.

3. Money & SIM cards: Exchange offices and ATMs are right in the arrivals hall — though airport rates are rarely the best. For smaller amounts, card payment works almost everywhere in Türkiye. SIM cards from the major providers (Turkcell, Vodafone) are sold at counters in the hall.

4. Meeting your driver: With a booked private transfer you simply walk through the terminal exit — your chauffeur is waiting there with a name sign. No desk, no queue, no searching. He takes your luggage and walks you to the air-conditioned vehicle.

Arriving at night: what changes?

Very little — and that’s the good news. Antalya Airport operates around the clock; exchange offices and SIM counters in arrivals stay open at night. Your pre-booked driver waits whatever the hour, with no night surcharge, and the roads are empty — the drive to Lara often takes just 15 minutes after midnight. One tip: enter your hotel’s full address in the booking so the night porter expects you.

Arriving with children

There are lifts and wide exits for pushchairs after baggage reclaim. If you ordered child seats, they’re already fitted when you get in — just enter your children’s ages when booking; seats are free at Kalypso. Keep water and small snacks in your hand luggage — the selection before passport control is limited.
